Re-Process, Replace, and Delete Options for Documents

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Context

After a document has been uploaded into Worthy, advisors have a few options for managing it directly from the document view. Whether something looks off on the overview page or you've received a better copy of a document, Worthy gives you simple tools to correct or update a client's information. There are three options available for any uploaded document: Re-Process, Replace, and Delete.

To get here, click on a client's profile, and then click on Documents.

Under the Source Documents you will see 3 buttons:

Re-Process

If something looks off on the overview page, Re-Process is a good first step. Clicking "Re-Process" prompts Worthy to analyze the existing document again — a quick way to try to resolve an issue without needing a new copy of the document.

Replace

Sometimes the original upload has a problem that re-processing can't fix — for example, a bad scan that's hard to read, or missing pages. In these cases, once you have a new copy of the document, click "Replace."

The Replace option automatically deletes the old document for you and uploads the new one in its place. Worthy then analyzes the new document and updates the client's dashboard accordingly, so you don't have to delete and re-upload manually.

Delete

The third option is "Delete," which removes the document from the client's account.

Important Notes

  • Use Re-Process as a first try when something looks off on the overview page. Contact hello@withworthy.com if something still looks off after re-processing.

  • Use Replace when you have a new or better copy of a document; it deletes the old file and uploads the new one in a single step, then re-analyzes and updates the dashboard.

  • Use Delete to remove a document from the client's account.
