What's Up with Worthy — September 15, 2026

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Welcome to our monthly roundup of new features and product updates. From Roth Conversion projection charts to branded reports and expanded state coverage, here's what we've shipped since our last update.

We're constantly working to make Worthy smarter, more accurate, and more flexible — and getting input from hundreds of advisors in the process. With that said, every advisor faces unique opportunities and challenges. If there's a feature you'd like to see, or something we could improve, please let us know: hello@withworthy.com.

Roth Conversion projection charts and report integration

The Roth tool now includes three new visual charts alongside your year-by-year conversion ladder:

  • Base Case ("Do nothing") — see how your client's balances are projected to grow if no conversions are made.

  • Conversion Case ("What converting changes") — see projected balances under the conversion strategy, with the growing Roth balance alongside the declining traditional balance.

  • Tax Breakeven — a cumulative tax comparison showing the year where the upfront conversion cost is recovered through lower future taxes.

These charts make it easier to frame the Roth conversation with clients and show the long-term impact at a glance.

All three charts — plus the year-by-year conversion ladder — can now be added to client reports through the Report Builder. Click Add Roth Strategy, pick which parts to include, and Worthy drops them into the PDF. If you've built multiple strategies, you can add more than one to the same report, each with its own selection of parts.

We've also improved the accuracy of Roth scenarios behind the scenes: tax columns are now computed using Worthy's deterministic tax engine, and lifetime savings figures are derived from the full projection model.

Your team name and logo on reports

Reports generated from the Report Builder now include your team's name and logo in the header. This gives every client deliverable a professional, branded look without any extra setup — just make sure your team profile is up to date and it'll appear on every PDF you download.

Expanded Oregon state tax support

Worthy now supports a broader set of Oregon state tax forms:

  • Form OR-40-N (nonresident) and Form OR-40-P (part-year resident)

  • Schedules OR-A, OR-ASC, and OR-ASC-NP (Oregon adjustments and subtraction credits)

These join the existing Form OR-40 (resident return) support. Oregon clients will see full state tax data reflected in the client overview, chat responses, and reports.

Form 1099-NEC extraction

Worthy now extracts Form 1099-NEC (Nonemployee Compensation). If your clients receive 1099-NEC forms for freelance, consulting, or contract income, Worthy picks up the income automatically and factors it into the tax picture.

Faster login with SSO deep link

If your firm uses Single Sign-On, you'll now land directly in Worthy after authenticating — no need to re-enter your email on the Worthy login page. One click, and you're in.

IRS transcript support in chat

When an IRS tax return transcript is on file for a client, Worthy now uses it as context in the chat alongside the filed return. This means Worthy can reference both sources when answering questions — helpful for reconciliation, amended return planning, or verifying what the IRS has on record.

Client and document attribution

Two additions that help with team workflows:

  • Documents now show who uploaded them and when.

  • Clients on a shared team book now show who originally added them, plus an owner column on the dashboard for quick reference.

California PTE credit carryover

For California clients, Worthy now carries the PTE (Pass-Through Entity) elective tax credit forward into next-year planning estimates. If your client paid into the PTE election in a prior year, the unused credit is automatically reflected.

Semi-annual equity vesting

The Equity tool now supports semi-annual vesting schedules. If your client's equity plan doesn't follow a standard monthly or quarterly vest, you can model the exact cadence to get accurate projections.

Upgraded AI model

We've upgraded the underlying AI model powering Worthy's chat. You should notice quicker responses and deeper analysis on complex, multi-form scenarios. Model upgrades like this are a normal part of how AI products improve, and this change should be a meaningful step forward.

Chat quality improvements

  • Worthy no longer saves hypothetical "what if" scenarios as permanent client facts — so exploring a scenario in chat won't change what Worthy remembers about your client.

  • Responses are more tightly scoped to tax topics and grounded in your client's actual data.

Consolidated notifications

The "What's New" announcements and your activity notifications now live in one place — the notification bell in the top navigation. Fewer things to check, everything in one spot.

We're grateful to have the opportunity to build the best and smartest tax planning platform for professionals like you. The best way to see all this is to log in and use Worthy. There's no setup, so you'll be up and running in minutes.
